Elizabeth's first dental appointment was feb 18. She was sooooo grown up and looked so big getting her teeth checked. Funniest moment was the dentsit said "I see your name is eliAzabeth. Do you have another name you'd like to be called or is it Elizabeth. Actually,e replies I changed it to princess Tiana but you can just call me Tiana. Laughed so hard.

Elizabeth is playing in the loft in her bedroom, and Andrew is also playing in the room. I'm folding clothes in the next room, and holler in: "Please make sure Andrew doesn't try to climb up the ladder!"
END: "Well, actually, Daddy, I put the dirty clothes basket in front of the ladder. And, Andrew was turned the other way so he didn't see what I was doing."
Proud tears well up in a father's eyes. I think she is nearly ready to be a parent!

During the Christmas Eve service at First Methodist in Springfield, Elizabeth was nearly calmly sitting on Daddy's lap ... and picking her nose.
"Don't pick your nose, Elizabeth," whispered Daddy into her ear.
"I'm not! I'm putting it back in!" replied, Elizabeth.

Kiddos Watching Late Night Cartoons
Since both kiddos had nice long naps, they wanted to watch a cartoon ("My Friends, Tigger & Pooh," of course) before going to bed -- and during half-time of the Monday Night Saints vs Patriots game.
Andrew is really turning into a self-controlled motion engine ... walking, standing, turning corners, sitting still (sort of), and all sorts of regular human mobile skills.

Tonight we decorated the Christmas Tree and the new "Birthday Trees" for Elizabeth and Andrew, all with a roaring fire in the fireplace. Elizabeth enjoyed finding the ornaments, but Andrew just seemed to want to eat everything.
Tasty holiday treats!
